If something goes wrong, you can deal with the way they handle their issues internally.
Have a list of Indianapolis real estate properties for the realtor that you want to see. Even if some of them are not specifically in the area, if the realtor is willing to go above and beyond, you may have a winner. Good realtors will show you a home that they have nothing to do with.

Your realtor should be ok with the properties they are showing you. If they don’t know anything or very little about the property, then they didn’t do their homework. They should be able to answer any questions that you have regarding the property. If you know more about the property than they do, then you may need to find another Indianapolis real estate agent to help you.
The agent should not be pushy or eager to get you to agree to a sale. They should in no way try to intimidate you into purchasing any Indianapolis real estate property. Whatever listings you want to look at, they should be able to honor your request. The more they do for you, the better chance they have of you retaining them to get a purchase. Upon closing, they can make anywhere from a few hundred dollars to several thousand on commission alone. Take your time to see what you want and if they treat you right, they will be properly compensated for their efforts.
You will find lots of choices available in the Indianapolis real estate market. There are lots of realtors for you to select from. There are some good ones and some bad ones, so you have to choose carefully. If there is another realtor you prefer, then go with that one. Whatever you decide, make it work for you.
